Wednesday September 23, 2020 First official day of fall, my dear dad’s heavenly birthday and we’re still enjoying summer like weather. Luckily the pasture grass is still providing food for the herd, especially on the new property. We walk over there every morning, Blue is first through the gate to explore scents from what might have wandered in there at night and then the herd follows. We are so grateful to have that property! There is a stream that runs through the middle of it, and the alpaca have never even wandered on the other side yet! The dogs however love exploring all of it. It’s why Blue is almost always wet from the knees down! Even Chief follows the herd every morning and it’s so good to see him enjoying life again. These are scary crazy frustrating times for sure, but we have much to be grateful for at Blue Moon Ranch. stay well~

Happy First day of fall to all of you! Sounds like Blue has settled in as a protector! What training he has gotten from YOU, and Chief and Charlotte! Love your blog, a daily read! I told you that I was going to Colorado, I did visit the Alpaca farm, THEY have nothing on you! You r alpaca’s are the best!

You’re right Jill, Blue is turning out to be a fabulous dog. It’s not east to have a combination of brave and fierce but also gentle and loving but Blue seems to have it. Yay! I’m glad you got to see some alpacas in Colorado, and even happier that you’ll come back here to see us again too.
