Wednesday September 9, 2020 Our Utah weather has been a bit intense lately. The National Weather Service officially reported a wind gust of 99 mph on Tuesday! More than 100,000 have lost power from the strong winds and many are still without. We’re on the back side of the mountain tucked down in our little valley, so so our wind has been minimal. Currently 28° so the winds did bring a change in the weather. We can even see a dusting of snow on the mountain tops. A taste of what’s ahead. ❄️
I’ve started work on a new spirit doll and he is the essence of winter! Mint and crystals are tucked inside his medicine bundle and when he’s finished he’ll be making a long trip to Bangkok to my youngest grandson. What fun. I can see a whole winter collection coming soon.
Stay well~

Wow! He’s very cool!
Linda
Thanks! I think a certain little boy will love him. They think it often snows at Yaya’s and they sure don’t see know in Bangkok!

He already looks magical!
Linda
Thanks Maureen, I thought so too. 😁

I’m so glad that you are one of the lucky ones that still has power. Ours has been out since Monday night and they’re saying it won’t be back on until Friday. That was a wild storm! We had 70 mph winds and it snowed for an hour and a half. I’m feeling like a pioneer having to haul water out to my alpacas and cooking over the fire in my fireplace. It’s an adventure for sure. But counting my blessings that all is well. We’re safe & healthy and that’s all that matters. Stay warm!
Linda
Oh MY! Jen, I am so glad you are safe and hope your pioneer adventure will soon be over with a return of your power!

Wow. My favorite so far!
Linda
Thanks! Oh I wish you could see him in person! He sparkles like new snow.
