Sunday August 23, 2020 Yes it can be challenging to care for all the animals in winter with all the snow, but I’ll take it any day over this heat. Most people who live around here, like us, have no AC and it’s getting to be exhausting. I’m ready for soup simmering on the stove, a fire in the fireplace and wearing my cozy alpaca socks. One more week and then we might get into the 70’s. Until then I’m conserving my dwindling energy for projects inside the house and dreaming of snow. Really! I also made something called “Air conditioning in a bottle” – with witch hazel, peppermint and menthol crystals. It helps. Let me know if you want the recipe. My heart is heavy for all the wildfires burning all over the west too. Today I’ll be grateful that at least we are not in the path of a fire. Stay well~
