Move it, move it

Sunday August 9, 2020 We finally cleared all the leftover hay and ‘beans’ out of the boys barn. By “we” I mean a friend who really knows how to use a Skid Steer. Well, Ed and Beth helped rake the corners into his path and I kept Blue out of the way and took photos. 😉  I do what i can with my little Kubota tractor, but I can’t compete with this guy. Amazing accuracy and speed. So it’s done and the boys have a bigger better hill to climb on now and a hay free barn to stay cool in.

The plan for today is to get Romulus over to the girls again. Hopefully some have ovulated from the breeding last week and will be spitting at him. Alpacas are induced ovulators and only release an egg after breeding. They’ll spit at him to let him know they did. I’ll wear an old jacket.  lol   stay well~

Photo of the day: Almost done.

    Hi Linda,
I have been wondering how the “fearless foursome” little guys are adjusting away from Mom’s? Stay safe yourself!
