Thursday July 2, 2020 The alpacas are getting more and more comfortable on the new property and because the dogs can be with them, we leave the gate open until “bedtime”. Which is about 8 pm here, don’t judge. 😀 They are ready to go back to the barn by that time and get ready to chill out for the night. They have to jump over a little ditch that is often filled with water but they are getting used to that too. The video below shows why we don’t need herding dogs here. Guardians yes, but herding dogs, no. I call them, they come. Even the slow moving oldies at the end always follow the herd, just at their own pace and too slow to make the video cut. ha Stay well~
