Saturday June 6, 2020  Shearing 2020 is in the books. What a relief to have that done! The whole day went exceptionally well, from the helpers to the weather and the shearing crew of course. Huge thanks to our amazing volunteers who grabbed fleeces, skirted fleeces and kept the mats clean for the next animal. It’s an exhausting day but we made it go as smoothly as possible.  It’s pouring outside right now and it sure looks like we picked the best day for shearing. Other than feeding all the animals, I think we’ll take it easy today. 🙂   stay well~

Photo of the day:  Tiny little Remy was held as he waits for his turn at shearing.

Here is Remy’s fleece. Where’s Remy? He ran out of the barn searching for his mama. (he eventually found her)

And the tiny Remy outstanding in his field.  😉
