Sunday May 10, 2020 Happy Mother’s Day! To new moms and old moms, adoptive moms, step moms, moms in heaven, moms to animals and 4 legged moms – thank you for taking care of the ones you love. ❤️ Alpacas are really some of the most attentive moms in the animal world. It’s one of the things that attracted me to them in the first place. In the early days, they are fiercely protective, intently focused and overflowing with love for the little creature they created. And very often the mother/daughter bond lasts for life, and we have several pairs in the pasture who are inseparable as adults. Little boys all adore their moms of course, but need to move in with the other males eventually.
If you’re a mom who needs a break today – I hope you get one! So many young moms have been taking on the roll of home school teacher and more during quarantine. Know that you are amazing and put your feet up for a bit today. And to all – stay well~
