Woodland birds

Monday May 4, 2020  The colorful birds have returned to Woodland to cheer us up. Just in time! We’ve seen the hummingbirds, the tree swallows, evening grosbeaks, orioles, house finches, redwing blackbirds and more. And my favorite blue heron that flies overhead almost every day. These magical winged splashes of color remind us that life goes on and many things in nature are thriving. I hope you have some colorful birds show up for you to brighten your day too. Stay well~

Photos of the day: This grumpy grosbeak obviously doesn’t like Mondays.  lol The orioles found the grape jelly I put out for them. This cute little house finch brings a splash of rosey red to the front yard.
