Tuesday April 28, 2020 Blue passed a major hurdle and I gained several hours back in my day! He spent the whole day unsupervised out in the pastures, barns and all over the property. I told Charlotte and Chief they were his teachers now, I did all I could and good luck! lol. It’s not easy to back out of the situation when it’s taken up so much of my day since March 18 when he arrived. But I told myself I needed to stop watching and let him learn what I could not teach him. It went so well! The alpacas have had a month to adjust to him and his has grown enough that I don’t feel he is in danger. He is very happy to see me when I go outside with his meals but I also think he knows he’s part of some thing big and wonderful. Congratulations Blue.
