Ouch! and helpful dogs

Tuesday April 7, 2020  One of the alpacas ran past me at the gate as I was hauling 2 heavy bales of hay over a bumpy spot right in front of the gate. I fell down tweaking a knee pretty good and she kept going past me in search of the grass that she saw growing out there. grrrr.  She really didn’t care that I was lying on the ground in pain!  The dogs came to my rescue and I found my footing but Gemma was off on her own adventure. We finally got her back in with the herd as it was getting dark (thanks Ed) and my knee will be fine, it was just twisted. No dull moments here – ever!   Stay well~

Photo of the day: I’ll sit on your lap and your knee will feel better mom. ~Banjo.

PS What are they? Those cute white hairs coming out of his eyebrows?  Eye whiskers? They always make me smile when the light catches them. Like whiskers on a cat but in the wrong place!
