Look for the constants

Monday March 16, 2020  As things change hourly all around us I find myself looking for the things that stay constant to help steady the world around me. The call of the sand-hill cranes returning to the neighborhood delighted me yesterday. The water in the creek flowing as always and leaving bits of ice behind. The little shoots of green that are just waiting for a warm day to burst from the soggy pastures. The innocent faces of the animals whose only care is when their next meal is served. And so many good people reaching out to help others. As we are homebound waiting for things to unfold, I will continue to look for my constants and be grateful for them. Stay well!
