Thursday August 8, 2019 How nice to have a recovery day with no crisis. 😁 Madeline’s baby has a name – he will be called Roman. And he was racing with Ryder last night! Rocky is close to being ready to join in, but he’s leaned that he needs to stay close to mom to get his milk when she stands up. She is still very uncomfortable and isn’t on her feet as much as the other moms. So he stays near her and gets right under that udder when she does get up. smart boy. I tried to give him more bottles, but he is no longer interested. His activity level tells me he is doing OK, and I’ll check the scale for weight gain today. Still in awe that he is alive! And no longer pink! So far, things are so much better than we expected and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for Marcella to feel better soon.
We do have a private tour group coming today and I hope to get the pastures cleaned up early this morning. I plan to get some photos of all three boys together today too. 🙂 Happy Thursday!
