Monday July 29, 2019 Three baby fleeces are on their way to the best fiber mill in Utah this morning. Yes, that would be Spinderella’s. I spent about 2 hours on each fleece picking out hay and bits of vegetation last week while I watched the very pregnant mamas. (And I still didn’t get it all) Because the idea is, if you don’t want it in your yarn you shouldn’t send it to the mill. I know they will make a magical yarn from Harry Potter’s fleece but they are not actually magicians who can turn a hay filled fleece into something lovely! Harry Potters was the easiest. Rowdy and Ramona, who will be spun together were the real challenges.
