Saturday June 1, 2019 It’s shearing day! I got a phone call form our shearer yesterday that he was stranded in South Dakota after the transmission on his van died. Oh boy. But he did find us another crew, who are currently sleeping upstairs here and will be ready to start shearing at 7 this morning. Whew. After getting all the food, helpers and everything else all lined up, it would have been a little frustrating to cancel the date. But the show will go on. I did move the alpaca cam from outside to inside the barn and I think the picture is better than before. Enjoy.
