Our lovely orange birds

Thursday May 23, 2019 Maybe it’s the cold spring weather, but the birds have sure been active around here lately. I love seeing so many orioles and grosbeaks. Their bright orange feathers can brighten up the grayest of days. I try to keep that jelly jar filled but lately they empty it every few hours. But hey, it’s what I do – I feed things. Every day I feed alpacas, dogs, cats, birds, kefir, and occasionally a husband. ha  Check out the second photo to see how the birds remind me their jelly needs to be refilled.  #itsgoodtobeneeded

Photo of the day: This black headed grosbeak waits for the Bullocks Oriole to finish his turn at the jelly jar. Then he let me know the jelly jar was empty. Can you see the orange bird at my door?
