Wednesday March 13, 2019 Yesterday we hosted a surprise birthday event/private tour for a family. The birthday girl is obsessed with alpacas and they wanted to bring her in blindfolded. Well if you haven’t been here lately you might not know that we are covered in snow, with icy paths that change by the minute as the weather melts and freezes. Blindfolded? I tried to discourage it, and was quite apprehensive … but it worked and they got her right next to the alpacas! I was also concerned she might scream when they took the blindfold off, but instead, she cried tears of joy and it was really sweet. A fun time was had by all and I think we pulled it off.
Snow started again overnight and will continue all day and into tomorrow. It will take us a few days to get ready for visitors again, but we should be good by next week. Happy Wednesday!
