Sunday February 17, 2019 Well we pulled it off again, thanks to a break in the weather, some awesome volunteers and Ed being a parking attendant guru. Just before 1:00, the sun came out, the wind died down and we had finished carving all the paths. It was a beautiful winter afternoon for a few hours! The girls were out of the barn all day entertaining visitors – big thanks to Smiley and Scarlett. The boys will get visitors next time but to clear a path out there was impossible this time. Just to be clear, I do go out to the boys every day, but I go through the girl’s barn and we couldn’t have hundreds of people in the barn. Kids were jumping OFF the paths into the deep snow after visiting the alpacas and I think a good time was had by all.
Today we rest. Thanks to all who came and especially to our helpers. We couldn’t do it without you.
