Halter training!

posted in: Uncategorized | 3

Saturday January 5, 2019 It’s time to think about halter training the babies. 🙂 I’ve already noticed some of the moms refusing to let the little ones nurse and that’s a perfect time for me to step in as a new friend. “Oh poor baby, Mama wont let you have any milk? Come let’s see how much fun we can have learning to walk with a halter and lead.” Actually the babies this year are the mellowest we’ve ever had. All of them allow me to touch them and Gemma is trying out for the next Scarlett role. It should be fun. 🙂

Photo of the day: Ramona is one of the sweetest babies ever. Her dad is Romulus.

Hi there I would like to purchase a couple of alpacas. I would like together them as soon as possible in order for them to adapt to the climate change.
We live in Southern Nevada. I absolutely love your pictures and posts.

Hi Carol, Thanks for your interest in our alpacas. Please tell me a little more about where you will be keeping alpacas. How many acres do you have? Is there shelter or a barn? Do you want fiber animals or breeding stock? Thank you. You can email a reply to linda@bluemoonranch.net

I am interested in alpacas just for the enjoyment they bring to this world. I have approximately 10 a. Of pasture grass with two old horses. We have a small barn and several big old cottonwood trees.I do some spinning. My crocheting is limited but I enjoy making old fashioned round throw rugs.
