Wednesday November 14, 2018 Yesterday was dog food pickup day. (thanks Ed) Because we feed our 6 dogs a raw diet, it can be overwhelming but we have a few good sources. Our freezer now has 150 pounds of muscle meat from a local butcher, 65 pounds of green tripe and other organ meat, raw chicken (yes they eat the bones, it’s how they get their calcium) and maybe 1 frozen pizza for the humans. All 6 dogs also get homemade kefir each day and occasionally other food when we have extra – like eggs, etc. The guardians earn their food every single day, and the house dogs, well they’re just lucky. lol .
