Friday October 12, 2018 The snow has melted and the bright sun has returned. The alpacas are wandering in search of any grass they can find and hay consumption is almost at winter level. The best news of all – I havent seen a fly outside for days! 🙂 I used to get seriously depressed in fall when the daylight hours started to dwindle, but spending more time outdoors and being with the animals has changed all that and now this is my favorite time of year. I’m very grateful that my passion requires me to be outside 365 day a year. My next update will be Monday or Tuesday as I take a few more days off to enjoy this beautiful season. Enjoy your weekend!
Photo of the day: It’s not too often that the 3 guardians all sleep this close together, but I am glad they are such a great team. Even vigilant 24/7 protectors need a nap. 🙂
