Saturday October 6, 2018 A story for today that I bet will make you feel better than anything that is in the news today. Yesterday a woodpecker decided to take a shortcut through the house on his way to the back yard from the front yard and met the window instead. Belle told me he needed help (she does that) and I went out to get him. He was on his back with his feet in the air and it didn’t look hopeful, but I picked him up and felt a heartbeat. So I brought him in the house and did a little Reiki love for him and just held him in my hand for a while. His heart beat got stronger and stronger and eventually I knew he was ready to go back outside. I think Belle cheered. 🙂
