Wednesday August 8, 2018 My jaw dropped yesterday as I watched my sweet one year old kitty Bogart chase down and tackle a magpie! (If you are not local, you might not know of these huge birds that I call rats with wings) He wrestled with it for a while, it eventually escaped his grasp and flew for a bit and then he took it down again. Bravo Bogart! Now, I love just about every living thing, but magpies push me to the limit and I can totally do without them. Bogart must know this, lol. (They eat the cat food, dog food, and threaten to devour any newborn alpaca who doesn’t move quickly enough.) And they are huge and I’m still impressed that this little cat could take one down. It’s also probably a good thing that we don’t have chickens any more. lol. Happy Wednesday!
