Saturday June 9, 2018 Another shearing day is in the books. Our volunteer helpers were amazing – all had done it before and everything went so smoothly from start to finish. Thank you to Wes, Ivy, Sharon, Janna, Beth, Todd, Meggan and Richard. You guys are the best! And of course I need to thank our great shearers from Shear Relief LLC. Brian and his crew always do a beautiful job. And now I get to start working with the fleeces. 🙂 But not today! Today is our rest and recovery day. I plan to sit in my folding chair and stare at our skinny animals trying to be sure I can still recognize them all and I’ll enjoy watching those moving bellies.
