Fencing projects

Thursday April 26, 2018  Our male herd is down to only 11 boys (sales were good in 2017) so we have decided to add fencing some pasture areas to allow the girls more grazing space. The boys can’t keep up with it, and the girls have over grazed their main area so it makes sense. Our son-in-law was able to come help with the post pounding and the kids helped move panels. Ed tried to be the manager. 😉 Kids love working if the job is appropriate! The bonus is that this will also extend our walking paths for visitors on open barn days because we always double fence between males and females. I hope you’ll plan to come to our next event on May 19 to try out the new paths.  Happy Thursday!
