Problem solving

Wednesday April 4, 2018  One of the things about farming that I love is how often it requires problem solving. And I love that I can share these things with my grandson. When it was time to feed the alpacas on Easter Sunday, he was more than happy to help me get some bales down from the stack. But because I forgot to wear my old winter coat, I didn’t have my pocket knife in my pocket and we had no way to cut the string on the bales. “Let’s use friction!” he said. It was a little trick I showed him last year and he loved showing his mom what he could do. 🙂  Enjoy the video and always keep some baling twine in your pocket!  lol  I do!
