Tuesday, March 8, 2016 Happy International Women’s Day! I remember fondly when we were in Africa in 2009 and it was International Women’s Day. It was a huge holiday. Businesses closed and there were festivals celebrating women all over the city. It doesn’t seem to be such a big deal here and that’s sad in a way. If you’re a woman, today is your day to celebrate being you! I wonder if I can get Ed to cook tonight? 😉
