Thursday, December 8, 2016 I love to check the alpaca cam first thing in the morning as see all the cud chewing going on. Chewing cud is how an alpaca generates extra heat inside their body, so it’s a good thing to see on a frigid morning. More snow is expected this afternoon, I’ll try to get all the hay out to the barns before that happens. We’ll have to skip outside feeding for a few days until the storms pass. Stay warm!
