Saturday April 18, 2015 The birds seem exceptionally hungry these days, I imagine it’s the return to winter weather! I do my best to keep the bird feeders filled, but we also have the hazard of huge windows all around the house. Usually they’re just stunned when they crash and all they need is a few minutes to regroup. The problem is our aggressive magpie population will snatch them up for a warm meal before they realize what happened. So I bring them in the house til they are ready to fly. 🙂
