Christmas Caramel Corn
Pop 7 quarts of pop corn. Do not add salt or butter
In a heavy sauce pan, mix:
2 C. packed brown sugar
1 C. butter
1/2 C. light corn syrup
1 t. salt
Bring to a boil and cook for 4 minutes
remove from heat
Add 1 t. vanilla and 1 t. baking soda. mix thoroughly and pour over the popped corn.
Stir as it cools to keep it in small pieces.
Cleanup is easier if you spray the mixing container with Pam before putting the popcorn in it!
