Tuesday, July 30, 2024 Cleaning out closets and sorting through 20+ years of accumulated stuff is proving to be less fun that anticipated. 😂 Have you ever tried organizing an attic or such and you stumble on a box of old photos and poof the day is gone? Yeah I know. But things are falling into place and I’m getting so excited to get back to New Mexico. Grandkids week will happen next week and that will keep us distracted for a while. Then we’ll fly to New Mexico for an initial trip to get things set up and ready for a bigger move with the dogs in September.
I truly thought I would have an open house, garage sale type event here before we left but honestly, if anyone mentions alpacas or the big white dogs, the chance that I erupt into a fountain of tears is still pretty high. Add a few heartfelt goodbye hugs and I’d be a real mess. So we’re making lots of trips to the thrift store with donations and I will use this blog to keep connections with friends alive. OK?
My posts might not be as frequent, but I still think I keep this site more current than most personal websites. I’ll be in touch soon and as always thanks for checking in!

A salt water pool awaits at the new house. Did you know a salt water pool is high in magnesium and is great for achy joints and muscles. Plus no nasty chlorine smell. I can’t wait!
