Monday March 11. 2024 It’s been a while friends. So I’m checking in to say Hi and to let you know we haven’t fallen off the earth. I took a little road trip with my daughter and daughter in law to host a baby shower for our youngest son and daughter in law who live in Boulder Utah. Such fun family time. I also got to see my youngest (for now) grandson who flew in from DC with his mama. Definitely a great road trip, with non stop talking, catching up on family business and we arrived in Boulder before we knew it.
Farmer Ed stayed here with the dogs and cats and had his first Toothless encounter. I do believe this little black cat is here to stay! He is getting braver each day and will now eat off the same plate as Garbo, the queen cat here so I think he’s part of the tribe. He’s even ventured into the garage to check out more of his new home. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to get him to a vet for a check up and neuter.
I like to keep family photos generally private, but I have a few pics of the road trip that I can share and I could not resist sharing just one of my youngest grandson.
Be well and thanks for checking in!
Photo of the day: Open highways with no other cars and a few clouds, perfect.
Quaint old gas station in Scipio Utah. ❤️
Best of all, spending time with my youngest grandson!

He is gorgeous and I think he has your eyes!

Thanks Sunny! I think so too! Both his parents have dark brown eyes, there’s no other explanation. 😀

He is adorable and looks like a gentle boy in training!

Thanks Gigi! I hope so!

Today has been one of “those” days. 🥴. Your post was just in time! The photos are wonderful! Beautiful landscape, lovely old garage from days gone by…. But the one of your little grandson made me smile like crazy! What a mug on that darling little tyke!!

Sending you a hug Brenda! We all have those days. The fact that this post made you smile is the reason I still keep writing! 💕 Thanks for your comment.
