Wednesday February 7, 2024 I watched the movie “How To Train Your Dragon” with the gentle boy many years ago. We both loved it. And the star was a little black dragon aptly named “Toothless” for his lack of teeth when he was first discovered. It’s a cute story and I do recommend it. Read on…..
Well, I knew we were feeding other cats in the new “cat house” and that’s fine with me. Cat food is much less expensive than hay was! I’ve caught glimpses of a tiny back kitten from time to time out there but he/she is terrified of me and races for an escape whenever I’m out there. Our new rule is cat food is only out in the daytime, never after dark, so hopefully our Toothless will get a little more comfortable with me out there. Last night when I went out to pic up the food bowls, I could see 2 yellow eyes peering at me from between a old crate and a plastic tub filled with blankets for the cats. And he/she was growling at me!! lol I sat out there for a while, leaving the food to see if little Toothless was hungry, but he/she would not approach the bowls while I was out there. It all takes time, so I’ll be patient and let you know how this progresses. I think our little Toothless is adorable!
Snowing again here today! Stay warm and thanks for checking in.

Adorable! We have a little black panther too, a former feral kitty. He was lurking under our bird feeder and now he insists that feral designation was a BIG mistake. He knew he always belonged somewhere: Here!

Sweet. I do hope he will warm up to me eventually. We might have to wait for the gentle boy’s next visit. He definitely has a way with cats.

Can’t wait to hear the name

For now I’m calling him Toothless. Full name “Toothless the Night Fury Dragon”! It’s one of the most feared dragons of all times. hehe I might have to watch that movie again.
