Thursday, May 25, 2023 Our shearing date is still “tentative” for June 10, but I’m feeling more hopeful each day that it will stick. Toenails and top knots are begging for attention and I’d really rather leave it to the pros if possible. Night time temps in the 40’s are keeping all the alpacas cool enough, so at least over heating is not a concern at the moment. Actually the day time temps in the 60’s are quite lovely too. I’m ready to get my fleeces for the year and the alpacas will be happy to give them up. Win win. Happy Thursday!
Photo of the day: Remy is a tiny guy anyway so he really does have to look up to see me. Hi Remy! I’m right here!
Jill Jackson
Cute picture Linda! Hope 10 June sticks! Is that little Benji on the left? How is he doing…bless his heart! Can you tell I have taken a liking to him? Have a good weekend
Linda
Hi Jill! Yep, that is little Benji on the left. He’s doing fine! Although he will also see better after his haircut!
Sunny Bryson
This is the time of year where they all look like big, beautiful stuffed animals – LOL
Linda
They really do Sunny! I need to get more photos before June 10!
