Thursday, May 11, 2023 At least one of our pastures is sub-irrigated. We have never watered it, yet it remains green spring through fall. The water runs under it and in some places it feels spongy when you walk on it. So it’s the first place the alpacas wander in the early morning to get some green nibbles. And when the alpacas wander the dogs love to wrestle. And that new compost pile makes a perfect run around. They were chasing each other around and around until i got my camera out! lol I caught the tail end of their morning tussles. They decided they better come over to me to see if I had any treats in my pocket. I did. Happy Thursday!
