May Day!

Monday, May 1, 2023  Happy May!  There’s a slight hue of green starting to show in the pastures and it’s a most welcome sight.  The alpacas are wandering in search of the green shoots and I’ve noticed their hay consumption is down so they must be finding what they are looking for.  The river at the end of the road is rising quickly but for now our creek seems OK. 

Today I’ll start the big barn clean out to get the winter bedding out and a new compost pile started. Fingers crossed the old Kubota holds out as long as I do.  Happy Monday!
