Thursday, April 13, 2023 So much melting! People are sending messages asking about our flooding situation. So I’ll tell you – we are OK for now but one of the streets in the town nearest to us (Kamas) was closed because of flooding last night. We are walking through standing water to deliver hay to the barns but we have boots, and the barns are staying dry so far. The Provo River at the end of our road sounds like a freight train and now we need a few cold nights to slow down the melt. Hopefully that will happen tonight.
As I was cleaning up in the barn yesterday I noticed the avalanche that fell in January has finally separated from the roof. And left behind a smiling face. Or is it laughing at me?

That smiling face is too funny!! Glad things are finally melting and I hope your cooler weather will slow it down. We’re getting to the high 70’s today and our snow is melting away. It’s certainly not normal, so I’m glad our cooler, normal weather is coming this weekend. Stay as dry as possible! And let’s hope the creek don’t rise!
Linda
Thanks Lana. Hope you stay dry too!

So glad to know other people see images in all sorts of things. Brilliant. Definitely smiling.
