Wednesday, March 29, 2023 I took advantage of a non snow day and drove to Salt Lake City for supplies. I’ll tell you what – it’s a totally different world down there. Less than an hour away and about 2000 feet lower in altitude makes all the difference in the world. It’s no wonder people are asking for farm tours! It was good for my mind to see that scenery. It’s snowing here as I type, but should warm up nicely today so we’re hoping for more melting. I also think it’s time for a summer photo to remind us how it will look here in a few months! Happy Wednesday!

I know what you mean. We are only about 100 ft above sea level, but are amazed that we get more snow than the valley. The guy who sold us our house told us “It’s a whole different world up here’, so I laughed when I saw your blog title. So true, especially for you.

So true! I love summers up here when the valley is sweltering in 90+ degrees and we barely get over 80. And most winters are NOT like this one!
