Monday, March 13, 2023 Many spinners try to create fine consistent yarns, once upon a time, I did too. Now my yarn is consistently inconsistent and I’m much happier with it. I never did want my yarn to look like yarn from a mill. Agreed, it might take a more creative knitter to enjoy working with my yarn, but when ever I put my handspun in the store it sells out. 😊 The yarns below have been keeping my hands busy for the past few weeks while we deal with dog drama and it’s been helpful to unwind me. They haven’t been washed yet and that will change the look a bit as well. I love to hang the yarn outside to dry and it needs to be above freezing for that to work. Sadly I’ve had to close the store because we cannot keep trying to shovel out the path to the yarn barn, but one day soon, I’ll get that done and then these beauties will be listed for sale. Happy Monday!

KATHIE CARPENTER
I love them! Finally retired sitting on the front porch with my dog. The deer and cows come into the yard to graze. With 600 fenced in acres and several ponds we have plenty to roam as well! And their’s a cardinal that fancy’s to see its self in the truck mirrors. Vain? Why not! He is beautiful.
Happy Monday everyone!
Linda
Congratulations on your retirement! Enjoy every minute.
Lana
The yarn looks great! I don’t spin anymore, but when I did, it was always lumpy and bumpy. (Feet and hands could never get to the same speed.) But what I did do always sold! I was amazed. Guess it is ‘artisan’ yarn. 🙂

Thanks Lana! You’re right, I think the lumpy bumpy stuff is more like art than the uniform stuff. That’s probably why I’m drawn to it.
