Tuesday, February 28, 2023 If ever I needed to think about June in Woodland its today! We’re in a white out blizzard at the moment and the guardian dogs have been confined to the garage after they escaped several times yesterday. Farmer Ed installed a new hot-wire fence while it was snowing but they found new ways to climb over different areas. It’s much easier if you have 4 legs but I’ll yell ya, Farmer Ed at 75 does pretty well climbing fences and wading through waist deep snow to grab a dog. I could go on and on with more details of the day but let’s just enjoy the photo of the day. Early June in Woodland with alpacas still waiting for shearing day. I can’t wait. I’ll even suffer through a fly or two. Happy Tuesday!
Photo of the day: Full fleece alpacas enjoy a spring day at Blue Moon Ranch.

I know the snow will help with the drought in the West, but geesh, enough is enough. It is snowing here too, and our pup needs to be on a tether because she too can get out of the fencing. She’s too young to be on her own just yet. Love the summer pictures. You have some beautiful animals.

Thanks Lana. I agree, enough is enough. And I usually love winter!
