Monday, January 30, 2023 It seemed like a good day to get caught up on my spinning yesterday. Farmer Ed had built a nice fire and my wheel was ready and waiting. Spinning for me is like meditation, my mind is soothed by the repetitive motion and all gloomy thoughts disappear. The fire was crackling, the dogs were snoring and before I knew it I had a bobbin full of soft alpaca yarn. I’ll have a few more bobbins done today and then after a wash, they’ll be offered for sale.
The temp this morning is stuck at 1 below zero, but all animals look fine. And yes it’s snowing. Happy Monday!
