Friday, January 20, 2023 When all 4 dogs are barking their serious barks, I know something or someone is too close to the fence. They all startled me at about 11:30 PM and Juno kept up her barking for at least an hour after Blue and the house dogs decided to go back to sleep. But for a while we had quite the canine convention. On a balmy summer evening I might have considered going out with a flashlight to investigate, but it was 8° and the snow is still making foot travel a challenge, so I opted to stay bed and listen. It seemed to be slowly de-escalating. I plan to go out this morning and look for footprints and since we had a little fresh snow last night I hope I’ll be able to tell what came visiting in the dark. Whatever it was, the dogs convinced it not to come any closer. Once again, I am grateful that the guardian dogs are here to keep the alpacas safe. 🐾 Happy Friday!
Photo of the day: Scarlett is glad the dogs keep all intruders at bay.
Nobody gets past this girl. Good job Juno.

I absolutely love the picture of Juno and her “pack”!! What a beautiful photo!
Excited to bring my grandkids up in May and for my grand daughter, who is nine
to purchase some wool for her crocheting projects!! Having spent time in the
high Andes of Peru, these animals are endearing to me! See you in May with
the grandies. I found your information on Only in Utah by the way,
