Wednesday, January 18, 2023 Sitting in the barn with the animals is one of the best things to do on a cold winter day. Dogs curled up at my feet, cats curled up in their warm baskets and alpacas softly chewing cud. The smell of alpaca breath is sweet and earthy and I absolutely love it. (dog breath not so much lol) It’s a great time for observing the herd and a privilege that few people are fortunate enough to enjoy. But I do and I will and I don’t take it for granted. #grateful Happy Wednesday!
Photo of the day: Marigold stared at me for quite a while yesterday for my barn sitting time and made a charming subject for my photo today.

Linda,
I am so envious of your barn time. A peaceful quiet place can put the soul and mind in a good place. Marigold has such a sweet face, but then I think all of the alpaca’s have sweet faces. Enjoy your barn sitting time and I hope that your hand is healing up nicely.

Thanks Michelle. My hand is slowly healing and I might even see if I can spin some yarn this week. I still have to keep it wrapped to immobilize it just a bit so I’ll only do what feels OK.

Marigold is a beauty! What do you think she was saying to you, via telepathically….?
Linda
It looks like the “When do we eat?” look to me. 😊
