Sunday, January 15, 2023 The barking told us something was too close to the fenceline. Both dogs were on high alert. It took a while but then we saw the potential intruder. A wild turkey. ha. It left quickly and the dogs returned to quiet. I’m not sure why, but during the snowiest winter we’ve had in ages the wild turkeys seem to be thriving. They are everywhere! Well, not inside our fencing yet because Blue and Juno do not allow it! Good dogs.
Hand update: Stitches were removed yesterday! It still hurts, and I’m not able to use it as much as I hoped, but I’m moving in the right direction. Happy Sunday!
Photo of the day: Juno is standing on a few feet of snow here, there are hay wagons buried under her!

Yay for the stitches out! I cannot believe how much snow you guys have gotten! Woo hoo!

We are definitely having a good snow year!

We’ve seen wild turkeys more this winter too! They come right up to the house and walk around like the own the place. When we come out with the dogs they fly away. And they can glide! Turkeys are thriving all over the country, by the looks.

How interesting! I thought it was just here. Is it the year of the turkey? 🦃
