Thursday, January 12, 2022 I hope you’re not getting tired of snow photos because it’s all I have lately! We got just a little fresh snow yesterday but today the sun is out and shining brightly! I’ll have to make sure Farmer Ed eats his Wheaties because there is much shoveling to do today. I thought I could help him with my one hand but I really can’t. My #1 job is taking care of him and his #1 job is taking care of me so I won’t let him do too much. And he’ll make sure I stay out of his way so my hand can continue to heal. I do wish the grandkids were here now – they LOVE shoveling! lol But just for today we will be grateful for the sunshine! 🌞 Happy Thursday.
Inside the roof slide. Luckily no damage at all. (Blue Moon Ice Castles?)

I was just thinking the grands would love to tackle all that snow!
Linda
They sure would! They’d probably try to get a sled on the barn roof! lol

My hubby only shovels when there isn’t enough snow for the snowblower. He even snowblows the 4 foot deep snow trenches in the back yard for the dog. Like you, we are grateful to see the sun and bright blue sky. Melting to be had today!!! Farmer Ed is correct to keep you from damaging your healing “war wound”. Glad there wasn’t any damage to the barn.

He uses the snowblower in the driveway but some of the further back areas are best done by hand. (not mine though!) lol
