Wednesday, December 14, 2022 Oh the resorts are so happy with all the new snow (20″ from the last storm) and we’re just happy to be able to keep the gates functioning. lol But the snow year is definitely off to a good start. Do you know that 95% of the water Utah uses in a year comes from the snow pack in the mountains? So there will be no whining about the snow at our house. (Farmer Ed being a California boy has a tendency to love it a bit less than I do) But we have our snow routines pretty well figured out for animal care and after the holidays we’ll just spend more time by the fire relaxing. I actually prefer it to our busy summers and I haven’t seen a single fly in months! Happy Wednesday!

We’re supposed to get the snow on Friday and Saturday. Our ski resorts will be happy too, though they certainly won’t get as much as you get out there. But natural snow is very, very welcome. Eastern resorts have to make a lot; snow guns have been busy and it helps, but the real stuff is the best! Minnie is frosted on head as well as back! So cute.
