Monday, December 12, 2022 Winter storm warning is what we’re hearing, but so far we still have wind and gray skies here. We’ll probably see a bit of snow today but most seems to be headed for higher elevations or other parts of the state. That’s OK, we have enough snow on the ground to use the sleds for easy hay transporting and the gates are all still opening.
12-12 is Juno’s gotcha day and also the day we signed papers to adopt our big rescue Chief. December is never an easy month to add a new working dog to a farm, but as a good friend said to me, “the right dog does not always show up at the right time”. We still miss Chief, he was one of the best we’ve ever had here, and Miss Juno will get an extra treat today for her happy gotcha day! Have a good Monday!

Knitting is keeping me busy inside! Some of these are already in the online store, but if any one catches your eye and it isn’t in the store, let me know and I’ll get it listed.
