Thursday, December 8, 2022 This time last year we were awaiting the arrival of Juno. Poor Blue was a solo dog after we lost our dear Charlotte the day after Thanksgiving, and I was so glad to have found a helper for him. She came from Arizona, was more than a little unsure of all our snow and had so much to learn in those early days. But she’s a smart girl and she learned her lessons well. She loved Blue from the start, took a little longer to warm up to the alpacas but has ripened into a 5 star guardian dog and she’s only a year old so the continued ‘ripening’ will only make her better. She loves having a job protecting her herd and we are so grateful she is here to help Blue. Have a good Thursday all!
Photo of the Day: Juno we are so glad you are here. ❤️
Once she got used to the snow she quite liked it! Video from last winter.

Juno… if there was a beauty contest for guardian dogs,
You would win. For beauty AND skill!

Thanks Jan, she’s a gem for sure!
