Thursday, November 17, 2022 I was tickled to see both Blue and Juno using the hay feeders as bunk beds early this morning. He got the top bunk of course, but Juno loves her little nest under the feeder. Lately they’ve been taking turns doing their warning barks, so one of them always gets a chance to rest. Of course if the threat is close or doesn’t heed the warning they both get involved. But there’s nothing like the peace and quiet when they both know all is well. I’m always grateful for these amazing guardian dogs. Have a good Thursday!

Do they do that often? Is it usually the same alpacas that choose to sleep under the stars vs in the barn?

I’m assuming you are referring to the alpaca? Yes. we have a group of hard core girls who love to sleep under the stars. ✨ They all do kind of have their favorite sleeping places.
