Tuesday, November 15, 2022 So far so good. I moved 2 of our sweetest boys, Rocky and Roman in with Benji. It’s not that big of a deal because they were actually standing right next to each other separated be a fence panel before. Rocky and Roman are 3 years old and still intact so I wanted to see how they’d act with full access to the little guy. No problems. The agenda is to get all the boys to be cool together so we can put the tarps over Benji’s private entrance and have him in with all the others, but slow and easy wins this race. It’s single digit cold at night, but no wind so they are OK with no tarps up for now. Once those winter storms start rolling in, I like to give them a little more protection. As it is, they all have 3 sides closed in to keep them out of the weather but I can’t turn off that mothering part of my brain that thinks everyone needs extra warmth in winter. So they will have clear tarps to give them extra protection. Plan B is to use panels to create a new separate entrance for Benji but that is a super pain in the a$$ so I’m hoping this works. Maybe we’ll add another boy today. Or maybe we’ll let these 3 get a bit more bonded. No storms in the near forecast is in our favor. Happy Tuesday!
Photo of the Day: Welcome to my pad, guys. ~Benji
I think the other boys are a little jealous. Benji looks smaller because of the camera angle, he’s not really that tiny.
