Thursday, October 13, 2022 When both tractors go down in one day and the barn roof starts to fall apart it’s more of a challenge to be grateful. The Kubota has a flat tire, and my poop sucking mower sounded like it was sick before it quit altogether. While we were commiserating about our tractors we noticed the barn roof insulation hanging down from the roof. Then after dinner I was planning our menu for tonight when we planned to host a dear friend for dinner, when I got the notice that we will have no water for the entire day. Ugh, Dinner plans were cancelled and now we’re filling containers all over the house and barn. Just so you know we do have days that are not all rainbows and unicorn farts here.
I did get some work done on the store, (which did not require tractors or water) so I have reopened it. Most of the new socks are now available. You can see them here. We’ve also made a decision on a fall event which I will share with you tomorrow! If you turn on a faucet and you have clean running water today – be grateful for that. Hopefully I’ll be grateful for that tomorrow!
